Come and See!
St. Mark's Parish has been a cornerstone of the Bridgewater Community since 1810.
Our present Church Building was consecrated by the Bishop of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut in 1860. The traditional design is based on plans for rural churches by the 19th Century architect, Richard Upjohn, who was architect for Trinity Church in New York City.
Well over two hundred years later we continue as a small, energetic, thriving community in the Northwest Hills of Connecticut. We are deeply rooted in the traditions of the Episcopal Church and the community members who built and loved St. Mark's and all our varied ministries decade after decade.
We see all who wish to join us in discerning God's mission for our community in this present age, and continuing to build loving, Christ-centered community for generations to come.
