St. Mark's is a window to the revelation of God, as a cornerstone of our community, welcoming all while  keeping with the Episcopal Tradition. We are energized by our family through fellowship and camaraderie with the purpose of growth and outreach.

Our Leaders

Saint Mark's is a parish of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut; overseen by our Bishops, served regularly by the Rev. Ellen Tillotson, and led by our Wardens and Vestry.

Events for the whole community

Established in 1810, our community is 213 years young and continues as a pillar of the Bridgewater Community! We frequently host our community partners' events and offer opportunity for town-wide gatherings and festivities!

Worship with us | Sundays at 10:00 AM

We are a liturgical church, worshiping according to The Book of Common Prayer.  We celebrate Holy Communion monthly. Morning Prayer services are held on alternate Sundays.

Learn more about our historic location

Our present Church Building was consecrated by the Bishop of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut in 1860. The traditional design is based on plans for rural churches of the 19th Century architect, Richard Upjohn, who was architect for Trinity Church in New York City.
